with this message you receive information about the 6th Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society and its Part and Partner Conference the 6th European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC). Both will be held 3 to 7 September 2006.

Venue: Cankarjev Dom Conference Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The attached files are the first announcements of both conferences. You are now invited to participate in the first phase of the conference, the call for programme, in which you can propose sessions and other programme elements. A second announcement and the call for papers will be launched in mid-January 2006.

The organization of the EMS/ECAC 2006 will be done in co-operation with Copernicus.
